New Features Revealed - Project Copilot gets Custom Instructions

Exciting news from Project Copilot, everyone! We’ve been working long and hard behind the scenes to get new features polished and ready to roll out. And today, we’re thrilled to announce Custom Instructions! But what’s even better? We’ve dropped an amazing YouTube video in which you can truly appreciate how this feature works.

Watch it here:

UPDATED: To utilize custom instructions, you must enclose the instruction within these two elements:

<instruction> </instruction>

What makes this new feature so exciting?

By simply prefacing directives with Instruction: , Project Copilot now has the ability to tailor storytelling to follow those specific instructions, adding an even deeper layer of personalization to your Jira experience.

You’ll see in the video how using custom instructions can spruce up your user stories, making them more relevant, on-point, and refined.

Here’s our recent Twitter thread announcing the feature:

Project Copilot remains in beta for now, as we’re committed to pushing out new, improved features every week. Innovation is a process and we’re in it for the long haul!

But we need you! We invite all users to push Project Copilot to the limits and let us know how it performs. Your feedback is not an optional extra for us - it is a vital component of our process to refine, optimize, perfect.
